Dr. Michael Rockwell, MD
Dr. Rockwell interned in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University and graduated from his residency in Psychiatry at the University of Chicago in 1992. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and did post-graduate psychoanalytical work at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago. Dr. Rockwell manages the pharmacotherapy needs of many of Northlight’s adult clients via the prescribing and monitoring of medications. Dr. Rockwell consults on diagnosis and specializes in the areas of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic, OCD, PTSD, and adult ADD or ADHD.
  
Karen Bischoff, LPC
Having obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling from Arizona State University in 2001, Ms. Bischoff employs CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), but also utilizes insight-oriented and interpersonal therapies in her work. Ms. Bischoff accepts most referrals, including presenting concerns related to general mental health, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, mood disorders and PTSD.
  
Cora Bruno, DBN, LCSW
Dr. Bruno received her Doctor of Behavioral Health in 2013 and her Masters of Social Work in 2002 both from Arizona State University. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution-focused Therapy and Crisis Interventions in her practice. Dr. Bruno primarily works with adults and couples in a wide range of areas including depression, anxiety, LGBT issues, PTSD, trauma bereavement and aging issues. She also works with individuals and their familys who are living with chronic or terminal medical illnesses such as HIV/AIDS, Cancer, MS and other diagnosis.
  
Janet Davidson, LPC
Dr. Davidson obtained her Ed.D in counseling psychology in 1993 from Northern Arizona University. Utilizing CBT and insight-oriented treatments, Dr. Davidson specializes in such areas as relationship issues, abuse recovery, anger management, parenting, and grief/bereavement work.
  
James Hicks, MD
Dr. Hicks received his M.D. degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara.  He did a Fifth Pathway program at the University of Arizona Medical School and completed his residency in Psychiatry from the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, where he was chosen to be Chief Resident.  Dr. Hicks’ specialties include VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulation), and Biological Psychiatry for adult clients.  His treatment philosophy includes respect for his clients’ right to be informed about and choose their treatment options, and to be generally treated as he would wish to be.  Dr. Hicks was in private practice from 1985 until 2011, was voted one of the “Top Docs” in Phoenix Magazine three times, and was voted one of America’s Top Psychiatrists for 2004-2005.
  
Lovilla Lee Henkelman, LCSW
Ms. Henkelman obtained her Master of Social Work degree from ASU in 1976. Since that time she has gained specialized training in CBT, Solution-Focused, and Family Systems theory treatment orientations. Additionally, Ms. Henkelman offers Christian-based services in all of her treatment areas. Ms. Henkelman prefers to work with couples, adolescents and families, addictions, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, divorce recovery, and ADD/ADHD.
  
Maria Hornyan, LPC
Ms. Hornyan obtained her MA degree from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana in 1980. CBT, Solution-Focused and Rational Emotive Therapy are all modalities she employs in her work with children, adolescents, adults and couples. Ms. Hornyan specializes in women’s issues, children/adolescent/family concerns, and relationship counseling.
  
David Melamed, LCSW
Mr. Melamed received his Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University in 1977, and utilizes an eclectic mix of theories and therapies that includes CBT and Solution-Focused modalities. His preferred referrals include adolescents, adults and senior adults and may include such varied concerns as depression, anxiety, grief, family or couple issues, adjustment disorders, and OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder).
  
Gina Metroff
Ms. Metroff graduated from the University of Phoenix in 1999, and is predominantly a Cognitive-Behavioral and Family Systems therapist. For nearly 10 years Ms. Metroff has worked with adolescents and families, substance abuse, anger management, and family and abuse issues.
  
Javier Perez, PhD
Dr. Perez graduated in 1991 with his Ph.D. in psychology from Arizona State University. Utilizing such well-respected modalities as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Systems Family Therapy, and Communications Theory, Dr. Perez works with children, adolescents, adults/couples, and families. His areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, trauma, bereavement, substance abuse, and OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder).
  
Mary Ricketts, LCSW
Ms. Ricketts graduated from Ohio State University in 1994. In her work with clients ages 4 to elderly, Ms. Ricketts often employs CBT, Solution-Focused, and Systems theories. Working with individuals, couples and families Ms. Ricketts specializes in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD.
  
Bobbi Vogelsang, DBH, LCSW
Ms. Vogelsang has had her Master of Social Work degree from Western Michigan University since 1985 and has been a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1987. Having attended trainings by some of the best-known therapist- trainers in her field, she utilizes Ericksonian, Narrative, Solution-Oriented, and Buddhist Psychology therapies as well as CBT. Working with adolescents and adults of all ages, Ms. Vogelsang’s accepts referrals for a wide range of concerns including marriage/couple counseling (including gay and lesbian), anxiety/stress/phobias, trauma, dissociative disorders, chronic pain, depression, and all mood disorders.
  
Randy Vogelsang, LCSW
Mr. Vogelsang graduated from the University of MIchigan with a Master of Social Work degree in 1987, and post-graduate training in Solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and strategic therapies.  A collaborative and client-centered therapist, Mr. Vogelsang works with individuals age 12 through geriatric, couples, and families.  His areas of expertise include anxiety/panic, depression, bereavement, anger and emotional self-regulation concerns, and marital/couple counseling.
